1. Who we are
Unicorn United Ltd ("Unicorn", "we", "us") is a brand consultancy for growing UK businesses. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website (unicornunited.co) and in the course of our client work.
2. What we collect and why
Enquiry and contact forms
When you submit a form on this site (Let's Talk, service enquiries, or the workbook waitlist) we collect the details you provide — typically your name, work email address, company name, team size, and anything you tell us about your brand or challenge.
Why: to respond to your enquiry, recommend the right service, and follow up. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to a request you initiated).
AI workbooks and Start Your Story
Answers you give inside our AI-guided workbooks and the Start Your Story game are used to generate your output during the session. We may follow up to offer support based on what you share. Please don't enter sensitive personal information into these tools.
If you email us at dl@unicornunited.co, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any engagement that follows.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who run our infrastructure:
- Netlify — website hosting and form processing.
- Anthropic — processes the text you enter in our AI workbooks in order to generate responses.
- Email and productivity providers — for handling correspondence and client work.
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted unless an engagement is under way. Client engagement records are kept for 6 years to meet legal and accounting obligations.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email dl@unicornunited.co. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
6. Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
